Pictured here is Fjolnir preparing to do what he loved most. His history with the clann goes back to it earlist days and though it was far from rosey at times, he was our freind and sword brother. Many a candle lit night was spent quaffing ale in his presence, for though he loved a good argument, he loved to laugh even more... and we loved to laugh with him. He was posthumously made a member of the Clann and we remember him every Samhain.

Great River Man Dies in Auto Wreck

A Great River man who hoped to get a job as a caroon artist was killed yesterday morning when his pickup truck collided with a pickup driven by a 19-year-old Bohemia woman later charged with drunk driving, police said.
The crash that killed Steven Taylor, 24, and tossed Lisa Beth Seaman and her passenger from their truck remains somewhat of a mystery to police, who were still searching for witnesses.
What police knew yesterday was that Seanman, of 1053 Walnut Ave., was travelling north on Oakdale-Bohemia Road at 3:55am. Taylor was traveling west on Sunrise Highway. The two cars collided at the roads' intersection, where there is a traffic light. "Someone blew the light," said Det. Sgt. Robert Walsh of the Fifth Squad.
When police arrived, Seaman, a student, was sitting on the road near her crushed truck. A passenger in her car also was sitting on the ground. Seaman was admitted to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore, where police said she was in stable condition yesterday. She was issued a field appearance ticket charging her with drunk driving and blood was taken for an alchohol test. Her passenger, who was not identified, was treated at the hospital and released, police said.
Taylor was on his way home from a friend's house. His father, Leonard, said his son had recently written his resume and was planning to fly to England for a job interview as a cartoon artist. He grew up in Great River, graduated from East Islip High School and earned an undergraduate degree in art from the State University at Oswego. He had worked for a graphic arts company and six months ago began to look for work drawing cartoons.
In addition to his father, Taylor is survived by his mother, Alice, and two older brothers, Scott of San Francisco and Douglas of Great River.
Police are asking anyone who might have witnessed the accident to call detectives at 687-8552. All calls will remain confidential.
