We play a variety of games at events. Usually we try to keep them period, or at least not mundane (ie: we don't play Monopoly at our events).

This is a game that I bartered with Thorstein for at Summer Thyng and received at Fall Thyng. It consists of 4 hand carved soapstone dice, each with the numbers 1-4 on them as well as two god symbols.
It can be played similarly to knucklebones or however the "dealer" wants. For example, you can say "highest total in three rolls" or "most ones In a single roll", etc. You also have the god symbols which act as modifiers as you play
And interestingly, when I asked him where he got the dice themselves from, he told me they are actually whisky stones for chilling your beverage
Hope you won't mind that i did a little work on the images and re-posted them! I think its awesome that he not only made up the game and the pieces but wrote up and printed the rules with them! Very cool.

Thanks! Taking the photos with my phone, uploading to Google Photos, then downloading them on my iPad and posting them here does not make for a good photo layout. All because I was lazy and didnt feel like getting up to go to my computer....
