Roman Roads subway map
Sasha Trubetskoy provides this fantastic fantasy subway-style map of Roman roads. Some liberties were taken of course and they are documented and discussed on the site linked but the point is it provides a really good way to grasp the network that connected all the far flung provinces of Rome in about 125 AD. Sasha offers a print quality PDF for a fee.
