The general turn out for Beltaine, 2008 was below par. Many of the usual suspects were either unable to attend due to conflicts or otherwise MIA. This combined image shows all the tents set up at the event and only excludes the hospitality tent set up by Brogan next to the Yurt. Vollund and Guthrum's yurts were not set up this time. Normally we'll get about 12 medieval tents at a well attended event.

The normal setup for Beltaine is shown, with wood stacked between the two centermost trees, Vollund at the cooking fire, and the main fire for entertaining. The path to the next site wasn't swept as there was no need for the overflow sites this time. The trailer is visible in it's normal position behind Vollund.

The weather didn't cooperate some of the time, with rain and thunderstorms throughout but there were certainly long stretches of beautiful blue sky, and the temperatures were more like what we're used to for early May, even though we had to postpone to the end of the month!
