2008 tee shirt sizes
TdB tee 2008So you've all seen the 2008 Clann tee shirt mock-ups by now. I intend to get started with the shirts so they are ready for Beltaine and will go with a slate blue if I can find something like that using the designs as shown in the mock-up for blue. I can't figure out how to do a poll on here that will take two kinds of data (qty and size) so please just reply to this post with how many you would be willing to buy and the sizes you want. Obviously I will get some extras in common sizes for sale to friends and as gifts, but PLEASE REPLY BEFORE FRI MAY 9TH [update: you now have till May 15th] to ensure you will have something in your size and so that I can run over to the tee shirt place next weekend sometime. This post has been set for TdB members and Friends only.

An email reminder was sent to all current TdB members that have not replied to this request. Those members have scant days to reply to my email with Qty and Size before I just take my best guess regarding how many extra shirts to order and in what sizing. When Vollund returns I hope to be able to get with him RIGHT AWAY so I can run over to the tee shirt place (or arrange with Guthrum to do it for me as he kindly offered) so we can get the order placed. Note: The final shirt may look different from the mock-up if we can get Vollund's drawing for the front (I saw early sketches and it was a cool sun based on a Celtic coin).

Final
So I spoke to Leeann at the shirt place and we're cutting it really close to get this done by the event. If I can bring them everything tomorrow (Fri) we may still be accommodated. I was hoping to get Vollund's alternate image by email so I could get our logo and the year on it and post a new mock up here. This evidentally could not be arranged so I will proceed with the current mock up (which, though perhaps not as cool as an all-Vollund shirt, has the advantage of being ready in time).
[update: Fri, May 16, 6am - Didn't get an email or a call from Vollund with a new image, so Sabha will be running over to the place with the files, list, and instructions today after noon sometime as is.

Well,it turns out I could not get any access to a scanner. I do have the artwork, I get home today around 2:00.
Theoretically I could deliver the drawing by 3:00 To Comyn.

I already emailed the artwork to the place. I am at work (in Smithtown), Sabha will only be able to make it down to Patchogue to pick the shirt colors and do the deal between 12 and 3. It takes time to put the lettering on the image (I use a font I don't have at work) so basically we're out of time to do anything with your new image and still *maybe* get the shirts in time for the event. I still want the image though!

I picked up the tee shirts tonight and I think they came out great! They're a nice color blue and the Vollund art fades well (I was afraid it wouldn't come out well). Yes, it would have been nice to have something from Vollund on the front too, but it's nice to use the old 2000 shirt art again anyway I think.
I will be bringing the box of shirts to the event - so if you ordered one and want to pick it up this weekend, be sure to bring enough cash or the treasurer will be holding your Clann swag hostage! See you there!
