Animated GIF showing five different possibilities for the 2008 shirts. Yes, there are about a zillion other ways we could do this, but sometimes you just gotta pick a few. Please take a quick look and give some feedback. I'd like to have the design over to the printer sometime in the next couple weeks. Once we settle on something, I'll post again to get an idea for sizing.

Colors
I like that each of our shirts have a differnt color. What about a dark blue?

I like the idea of a different color for each one. A nice burgundy would be cool too. I'll mock one up when I get a chance and throw it up here. The trouble is that Vollund's image looks like it's on a white background, which has a stark contrast with darker colors. Though, IMO I like the dark green best so maybe dark blue will be good too.

I am color blind
It's actually sort of funny that I'm having this discussion about what colors we want since I am slightly color blind. Sabha suggests that a slate blue (not a baby blue, but lighter than navy blue) would be nice (if they have such a thing), so I intend to take the design above for blue down to the place next to Blue Point and perhaps take somebody with me that can pick out a decent color of blue. The next step is to figure out who wants what.
Here's what I'll do: Look for a new topic called shirt sizes (which will be set for Members and Friends only) - just post how many you are willing to buy and what size you want before May 11th.
Mock up
I don't know how tough a mock up is, but maybe a sand colored one, too.
T-Shirts
I found this tshirt website (see address below). They have the beefy ts as well as anvil and others. Many colors to choose from and the price seems good. I hope this can help!

I put this up here for comment on 4/15, and didn't get much feedback other than colors. I'd like to have something ready for Beltaine (May 30th) but we still have time certainly to change the thing some more. I just took the design I used on the 2000 shirt for the front which is actually the Gorgon head from your drawing (from Bath) merged with the Clann Sun (the one on the banner) so I thought it was appropriate. However, if you have time to get with me about it soon, I'm sure everyone will be pleased with whatever you come up with.

Yeah,I would like to see something different for the front. I could do an illustration of the sun face that is presently on our coin.

That's cool! I am going to stick to the schedule though which is to get over there and order them sometime next weekend, unless you think we can put it off longer and still get them in time? If you can scan what you have in and email it or arrange to swing by my place sometime that would be great. Then I still have to fix up the mock-up so folks can see what they are ordering.

I've sent a couple emails to Vollund hoping to get together on an alternate image for the front before this weekend, but haven't heard back as yet. As it turns out the place I want to use (Ad Apparrel in Patchogue - the place Guthrum used for the brown shirts) isn't open on the weekend anyway :( So we have a little more time that I thought since I'll have to arrange to leave work early or go in late one day this week to get over there. I've got to get this going this week though - so hopefully Vollund and I can hook up earlier than later.
