Fiachra's Ouroboros

Fiachra's Ouroboros

Fiachra sent me this image and asked me to post it for everyone to see. He didn't tell me very much about the project other than that this image was created for him for free by a graphic artist (un-named), and that it will be used as the cover for his latest lulu book binding project.

The Ouroboros is an ancient symbol of a dragon swallowing it's own tail. It has many meanings, but vicious circle seems most apt.

The Worm Ouroboros is a 1922 fantasy novel by Eric Rucker Eddison. Eddison was well schooled in the old Norse sagas and medieval literature and the Worm is written in a faux archaic style that might be a good model for how to 'play' in persona :)

Hopefully we'll hear more about the project from Fiachra himself after I get this posted. Once it's available at lulu, I will update this page with a link to Fiachra's offering.

Book Project: Worm Ouroboros

There is not much to add--I downloaded the text of this book, and am proofreading and formatting it. I am including some of the pictures from the original edition, and the cover is a big plus.
This is the fifth book I have done so far, and each one is better graphically and typographically than the last.
I've only made two of the books available publicly. Here's the link:
