What news

Brogan is working on a workshop for the benefit of the clann, which will feature such
goodies as a lathe and a drill press. Guthrum looked at the heater
for the clan cooking trailer and has declared that it is officially
broken. He will try to fix it to the extent that the warrantee
will allow, and if it still doesnt work will send it back.

Sabha
is happily occupied with the baby, while nearby, Comyn has
outwitted the blackbirds and showed up with a gallon of blueberries
from the bush outside. Brogan dedicated 5 gallons of blueberry
beer to the clann.
* note to clann. show up with ingredients for things, and show
them to brogan. he will be attracted to them and promise to cook
us stuff. kind of like a magpie looking at shiny things.

EW is the proud owner of a new car, a lovely station wagon.
Fionnualla is totally taken up with Brynna. Eachna is working a
lot but looking towards a new job?? Aonghus is also working a lot
and also looking for greener pastures...

Old Business:
Comyn owes EW and Brogan in connection with having
set EW's tamborine on fire.

New Business:

1.) Brogan would like to begin a monier's guild. He intends to
have a proposal before the clann perhaps by next meeting.

2.) Imbolc 05 February
The second annual craft fair is slated for this year. Emphasis is,
as last year, on period crafts. This year emphasis is on donating
items to the clann for auction. Of course a treasured non-auction
piece will be a great addition to the show as well. A prize will
be awarded to the member who brings the single biggest ticket item.

3.) Vote to relegate Falgon to inactive status passed unanimously.

4.) A repeal of the following membership law was passed:

" Members of the Clan may hold membership in other medieval
recreationist societies providing that they allow personas from the same
time period as the clan. The member that joins the other group must
never take or hold a position, title, or office in that other group, except
those that are limited to overseeing combat and inspection of combat
gear. Under no circumstances may noble, royal or honorific titles be
obtained or held by the Clan member, regardless of the function of that
title."

The will of the clann in reguard to participation in other groups was than re-defined and a new law set in place of the old:

"Members may join and participate in other re-enactment organizations as long as there first loyalty is demonstrateably to the Tuatha de Bhriain."

5.) Attendance law:

"Members are expected to attend all TdB meetings. Advance written
explanation is required for missing any meeting. Failure to
provide explanation in advance must be explained at the next
planning meeting. The clann will asses a fine if they deem the
excuse / explanation unacceptable."
