Re: Céad míle fáilte!

Thanks! I must admit I spent a lot of time on the site over the last few days, but will be running low on free time again soon. I've already run into some things I don't like in this forum software, but I do want to try to keep it as stock as possible for now to make it easier to administer.

Michael Gibbons

The article had just appeared in the Times and I happened to find it linked in the same article I first posted. As it turns out, in the space of a day the OPW (Office of Public Works) has already issued a statement essentially claiming that Gibbons doesn't know what he's talking about. The article l...

Newgrange may be entirely Iron Age

Another article in the Irish Times quotes a former State Archaeologist, one Mr Gibbons, who believes that the light box which allows light to shine into the tomb as well as the quartz siding of Newgrange were fictions created by the person in charge of the reconstruction of Newgrange in the 1960s an...

Newgrange

tuar ceatha léamh

Comyn raced home from the Samhain festival, silently chuckling to himself. The old poet had laid a geis upon him, but surely such a task as this was a blessing not a curse! Reading was one of the things Comyn most loved to do and to have a geis upon him that he should do that thing seemed only the b...
